Michael Aram | Butterfly Ginkgo Canister – Small

The Michael Aram Butterfly Ginkgo Canister – Small is an elegant decorative storage piece inspired by the extraordinary beauty of the ginkgo tree. Combining a softly textured clear glass vessel with a polished metallic lid, the design is crowned by Michael Aram's distinctive Butterfly Ginkgo motif, where delicate golden ginkgo leaves appear almost like butterflies resting upon a sculptural branch.

The transparent glass body has a subtle handcrafted texture that beautifully catches the light, while the polished silver-tone lid and base create a sophisticated contrast with the warm gold-tone botanical detailing above. Compact and highly decorative, the canister is ideal for bringing functional storage and sculptural artistry to a dressing table, console, bathroom or curated shelving display.

Part of the celebrated Butterfly Ginkgo Collection, this small canister is equally beautiful displayed individually or grouped with coordinating sizes and accessories.

Why You'll Love It

The Butterfly Ginkgo Canister transforms a simple storage accessory into an object worthy of display. The transparent textured glass keeps the design visually light, while the polished metallic elements give it a refined, luxurious finish.

Its defining feature is the golden Butterfly Ginkgo ornament, which provides a striking focal point and introduces the nature-inspired craftsmanship associated with Michael Aram's collection.

The smaller scale also makes it exceptionally versatile. Use it independently as a decorative accent or combine it with other canister sizes to create a layered display with greater visual impact.

Styling Inspiration

For a sophisticated dressing table, position the canister beside a decorative tray, perfume bottles and a sculptural table lamp. Its compact proportions make it ideal for adding decorative detail without overcrowding the surface.

In a Contemporary Luxe bathroom, style it on a marble or travertine vanity alongside neutral towels and restrained metallic accessories. The combination of clear glass, polished silver and gold detailing works particularly well against natural stone.

For a curated console or shelving display, group the Small Butterfly Ginkgo Canister with coordinating pieces from the Michael Aram Butterfly Ginkgo Collection. Pair with art books, glass objects and understated ceramics so the sculptural golden ginkgo motif remains the focal point.
