Sculptural Lounge Chair Elara Geometric

The Elara Geometric Sculptural Lounge Chair combines expressive form with subtle pattern, creating a statement chair that feels artistic yet exceptionally refined. Its distinctive silhouette is formed from a continuous sweep of upholstery, with the curved backrest flowing naturally into the seat and down through the sculptural front supports.

Upholstered in a soft ivory-toned fabric with a tonal geometric pattern, Elara Geometric introduces texture and visual depth without the intensity of a high-contrast print. The repeating linear motif follows the chair's generous curves, highlighting its three-dimensional form while maintaining a calm, neutral appearance.

With its low profile, generous proportions and unconventional construction, Elara Geometric sits comfortably between furniture and functional sculpture. It is an ideal accent piece for sophisticated living rooms, bedroom seating areas, dressing rooms and design-led interiors.

Why You'll Love It

Elara Geometric demonstrates how a statement chair can be distinctive without being visually loud. Its character comes primarily from form, texture and proportion, while the understated geometric upholstery adds another layer of detail when viewed up close.

The sweeping silhouette creates an almost architectural quality, yet the rounded surfaces and tactile fabric keep the chair soft and inviting. The neutral palette also makes this version of Elara particularly versatile, allowing it to sit comfortably alongside natural stone, timber, plaster and other textural materials.

It is an excellent choice when you want a room to feel considered and design-led while maintaining a calm, sophisticated colour scheme.

Styling Inspiration

Unlike the graphic version of Elara, the tonal geometric upholstery gives this chair a distinctly Textural Modernist character, with influences from 1970s sculptural furniture and contemporary collectible design.

For a Warm Minimalist living space, position Elara Geometric against limewashed, plaster-effect or warm off-white walls. Pair it with a low travertine side table, an oversized paper or linen floor lamp and a hand-knotted neutral rug. The limited palette allows the chair's unusual silhouette to provide the visual interest.

For a 1970s Italian Modernist-inspired scheme, introduce walnut or burl wood, smoked glass and sculptural bronze lighting. Add touches of tobacco, caramel or chocolate brown elsewhere in the room—the warmer materials will contrast beautifully with Elara's pale upholstery while reinforcing its retro architectural form.

It can also work particularly well in a Contemporary Gallery-style bedroom or dressing room. Give the chair generous negative space, pair it with a monolithic stone side table and one large abstract artwork rather than multiple accessories. This turns Elara into a deliberate sculptural focal point rather than simply another piece of seating.
