Orsino Dining Table

The Orsino Dining Table is a commanding sculptural centrepiece that brings together luminous natural stone character and richly textured bronze detailing. Its expansive rectangular top features softly rounded corners and a pale, dramatically veined stone surface, framed by a slim dark bronze-toned edge that gives the table a precise architectural finish.

Beneath the top, a substantial central pedestal becomes a design feature in its own right. Its gently flared silhouette is covered in an irregular faceted hammered effect, creating a hand-worked appearance that shifts in tone as light moves across the surface. The deep bronze finish provides a striking counterpoint to the lighter stone above.

Generous proportions and a central pedestal configuration give Orsino the presence required for a sophisticated dining space while allowing the materials to remain the focus. Designed to coordinate naturally with the Orsino Sideboard, it can form part of a complete dining scheme or stand independently as a statement piece.

Why You'll Love It

Orsino is designed to make the materials themselves the decoration. The luminous stone surface provides organic movement through its natural-looking tonal variation and veining, while the dark bronze pedestal introduces depth, texture and a distinctly crafted quality.

The pedestal is particularly important to the design. Rather than using conventional legs, its broad sculptural form visually anchors the long tabletop while the subtly flared profile creates a sense of movement. The irregular faceted finish prevents the substantial base from appearing flat or monolithic.

Despite its strong presence, the restrained palette makes Orsino surprisingly versatile. It can anchor a dramatic dining room without requiring excessive decoration around it.

Styling Inspiration

The Orsino Dining Table has a strong Collectible Contemporary character, combining monumental proportions, natural stone and a base that reads almost as a piece of sculpture.

For a Collectible Contemporary dining room, give Orsino generous space and pair it with curved dining chairs upholstered in tactile ivory, oatmeal or warm taupe. Above, choose one substantial sculptural chandelier rather than multiple small pendants. Large-scale abstract artwork and minimal accessories will allow the table's materiality to dominate the room.

Its hammered bronze pedestal also introduces a subtle Brutalist influence. Develop this direction with textured plaster or microcement walls, oversized ceramic vessels, dark timber and architectural lighting. The rougher visual language surrounding the table provides an effective contrast to the polished stone surface.

For a warmer Modern Mediterranean interpretation, surround Orsino with limewashed walls, travertine flooring, warm walnut and woven or heavily textured upholstery. Use alabaster or softly diffused lighting overhead to pick up the creamy tones within the tabletop while allowing the bronze pedestal to provide depth and contrast.
