Decent Proposal Bed – UK Super King

Create a beautifully composed bedroom with the Decent Proposal Bed in UK Super King. Soft ivory-toned upholstery contrasts with a dark frame, bringing warmth and definition to its clean architectural silhouette.

The tall upholstered headboard forms an elegant focal point, with subtle vertical panelling and dark outer borders highlighted by fine metallic-toned lines. Upholstered side rails and a matching footboard extend the soft finish around the bed, while the recessed dark plinth gives the substantial design a lighter appearance.

Why You’ll Love It

Decent Proposal has the presence of a statement bed without relying on elaborate ornament. Its appeal lies in the contrast between soft upholstery and precise dark framing, creating a design that feels both inviting and structured.

The tall headboard gives the room a clear focal point, while the low bed surround keeps the overall composition balanced. Its ivory and dark brown palette works beautifully with changing bedding and accessories, making it easy to refresh the room across the seasons.

Styling Inspiration

Draw on the bed’s subtle Art Deco references with dark bedside tables, tall table lamps and understated bronze accessories. A softly textured wall behind the headboard will highlight its vertical detailing without competing with it.

For a more tailored contemporary bedroom, layer ivory cotton bedding with a charcoal coverlet and a warm taupe throw. Place a generous rug beneath the bed, extending beyond both sides, and introduce full-length curtains for softness. Finish with a single large abstract artwork on an adjoining wall to keep the setting calm and considered.
